Our Offer

The Primary Care Center of Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, 4 emergency centers, Finspång Health Center, the Child Health Care Unit, 1177, and the General Medical Training Center. We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

The health center in Mantorp has a well-deserved good reputation and is located in the center of Mantorp, a 2-minute walk from the train station. With the Östgötapendeln, it takes you 13 minutes to travel to Linköping and 7 minutes to Mjölby. Mantorp is a community in the Östgötaslätten with about 4,000 inhabitants, and the surrounding countryside means that the health center has about 7,200 registered patients.

The health center operates very well with good finances and stable staffing and consistently ranks high in patient and employee surveys. Our goal is to provide safe and secure care with good quality, accessibility, continuity, and a good approach. We have broad competence and many years of experience. At the health center, there are medical consultations, district nurse consultations, conversation consultations, child health care, as well as nurse-based diabetes, blood pressure, asthma/COPD, wound care, elderly care, and incontinence consultations.

Job Description

We offer a varied and stimulating job with medical consultations, child health care, home care, and elderly care. At the health center in Mantorp, we work with continuity, and you will therefore have your own patient list to manage. You will be part of the emergency service, both joint primary care emergency at the emergency center and the backup emergency line for primary care in western Östergötland. The position also includes supervision of AT/ST doctors and medical students.

Time for continuing education and medical discussions with colleagues is scheduled weekly. We strive for the work to be defined and the workload reasonable. About You

You are a specialist in general medicine and have previous experience working in primary care. You have a Swedish medical license (attached to the application) and Swedish language skills corresponding to level Swedish Cl. You have a valid B driver's license.

You are good at planning and organizing your work effectively and collaborating with other personnel categories. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
